Maxout Research™
A premium research module that turns your website and an industry into an original, deeply sourced publishing asset — with a reader-friendly article, branded figures, a full source ledger, and everything you need to promote the result.
What is Maxout Research™?
Maxout Research™ sits alongside Deep Research but goes much further. Instead of collecting statistics on a topic, it studies your website, searches the web for what is happening right now in your industry, verifies what it finds, and then looks for an angle nobody else has covered — comparing, calculating, classifying, or forecasting the evidence to create genuinely new information.
The result is not a generic article. It is an auditable research asset: every statistic either maps to a saved source or is shown as a transparent calculation, every figure carries its caption, method, and sources, and the whole run is packaged with social copy, a press release, and publishing tools.
Credit Cost
You choose the research effort before starting, and the credits are charged once, when the run begins:
- Standard — 100 credits
- Extra — 200 credits
- Max — 300 credits
BYOK Limitless members need an active OpenRouter key before a run will start, and the run's credits count toward the daily allowance stored on their plan. If you do not have enough credits left today, the run refuses to start and tells you how many are remaining.
If a run pauses or fails, Retry and Stuck? Get unstuck resume it from the last saved stage without charging you again.
Choosing a research effort
Each level has a distinct evidence and analysis budget. Times are estimates — complex topics or provider delays can take longer, and time spent waiting for you to choose a story is not included.
Standard
100 credits
10–15 verified sources
3 story directions
Estimated 5–10 minutes
Focused evidence, core asset, and original figures.
Extra
200 credits
15–20 verified sources
5 story directions
Estimated 10–20 minutes
Wider recent and historical scan, deeper comparisons, more figures.
Max
300 credits
25–30 verified sources
5 strongest stories
Estimated 25–30 minutes
Original calculations and tests, maximum evidence and publishing materials.
How It Works
Open Maxout Research™
Click Maxout Research™ in the dashboard sidebar. The page also shows your Maxout library, where every run stays available with its latest status.
Fill in the research brief
Enter your Website URL and Industry. Maxout crawls the site to understand its subject, audience, language, and visual identity. The industry is a subject area (for example "Cybersecurity"), not an SEO keyword. You can add an optional topic focus — leave it blank to let Maxout discover angles on its own.
Pick the research effort
Choose Standard, Extra, or Max. The credit charge for that level is shown before you start.
Add brand colors (optional)
Set one primary and two secondary colors. These guide the charts, tables, diagrams, and share graphics, and the themed statistical infographics use them plus matching companion shades.
Story selection
By default Maxout pauses after discovery and shows you 3–5 ranked story cards — each with its headline, angle, the new information it will contribute, and its evidence count — so you can choose one. Turn on "Choose strongest story automatically" to let Maxout pick the highest-ranked story and continue without stopping.
Start the run and leave
Click Start Maxout Research™. The work runs in the background with a live progress bar and stage name, so you can close the page and come back later. Nothing restarts and nothing charges twice when you return.
Research, writing, and audit
Maxout profiles your site, searches recent and historical sources including reports and primary documents, extracts claims and datasets, verifies important facts across sources, rejects unsupported claims, writes the full cited report, audits the evidence, then rewrites it into the shorter reader-friendly article and builds the figures, infographics, and promotion kit.
Inside a Maxout project
Each project opens a workspace with the article, figures, and publishing materials in separate tabs.
Asset
The final reader-friendly article — about 2,500 words on Standard, 5,000 on Extra, and 8,000 on Max. It leads with an executive takeaway, uses short paragraphs, lists, and bold or italic emphasis, and turns relevant phrases into contextual links that point to the cited sources. There are no citation numbers in the body; a linked Sources list closes the article.
Raw Article
The original long research report exactly as written, with every numbered citation shown as superscript and the full evidence trail. It is kept for reference — downloads, sharing, and WordPress use the reader-friendly version.
Figures
Every chart, table, timeline, decision tree, and diagram produced for the run, each with its caption, method note, and sources. Figures are also placed inside the article itself, at least one section apart.
Share Graphics
A shortcut to the Article Visualizer so you can generate additional visuals for this research and push them back into the article, plus a downloadable copy of every image already pushed to it.
Promotion
Ready-to-post copy for LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, and X (a thread of posts), plus a journalist-ready press release with headline, subheadline, and body.
Sources & Method
The complete source ledger — publisher, date, source type, and the exact evidence excerpt saved from each page — alongside a count of audited claims split into verified and needs-review.
Activity
Stage-by-stage history of the run with each step's status, so you can see exactly where research progressed, paused, or failed.
Usage
A per-service breakdown of requests, input tokens, output tokens, and images used by the run, with totals at the bottom.
Publishing and exporting
- DOCX — download the reader-friendly article with its figures ready for editing or upload.
- Publish kit — a ZIP with the article, figures, social images, captions, social copy, press release, and a machine-readable manifest.
- Manifest — the JSON record of the asset, figures, and sources.
- WordPress — push the article to the site connected under WordPress settings. Images are resized to 700 pixels wide, and you can choose one of the project's visuals as the featured image.
- Share page — create a private, non-indexable link that shows the article with its promotion kit below it, ideal for clients and teammates.
- More visuals — in the Article Visualizer, choose From Maxout Research™ to generate images from a completed article and push them into it, at least one section apart.
If a run pauses, stalls, or fails
Every stage is saved as it completes, so a problem part-way through resumes instead of repeating the research.
Retry
Appears when a run needs attention. It picks the job back up from the last completed stage without another credit charge.
Stuck? Get unstuck
For a run that is still marked active but has not moved. It restarts the current step from the last saved point — no extra credits.
Cancel
Stops the background work immediately and marks the run cancelled. Partial work is kept rather than thrown away.
Where else it appears
- Your dashboard shows a Recent Maxout Research™ section with your five latest runs and their status.
- The Maxout library card for each run shows its title, website, effort, credits, and status, and links straight into the workspace.
Tips for best results
- Give the real site: Maxout reads your website for subject, language, and visual identity, so point it at the site the research should support.
- Industry, not keyword: Enter a subject area. Discovery works better with room to explore than with a narrow phrase.
- Leave the topic blank to explore: Add a topic focus only when you already know the direction you want.
- Choose Extra or Max for competitive spaces: More sources and original calculations are what make the angle defensible.
- Check Sources & Method before publishing: Skim the evidence excerpts and any claims flagged for review — that is where the asset's credibility lives.
- Use the promotion kit: The social copy and press release are written from the strongest verified finding, so publishing the article and promoting it take minutes.
