What is the Article Visualizer?
The Article Visualizer is an AI-powered tool that analyzes your article content and generates custom image recommendations. It understands your article's intent, extracts key points, and creates 5 tailored image prompts. You can then generate a high-quality image from any of these prompts to enhance your content.

The Visualizer offers two modes: Blog Post Images for in-article visuals and Featured Image for premium blog cover images. Select your preferred mode using the radio toggle at the top of the Visualizer page.
How It Works
The Visualizer works in two simple steps:
1Analyze Content
The AI analyzes your article to understand its purpose and key messages. You select how many image prompts to generate (1–10, default 5), and each recommendation includes:
- Concept name and description
- SEO-friendly alt text and filename
- Caption and overlay text
- Complete image generation prompt
Cost: 1 credit
2Generate Image
Select one of the recommended prompts and generate a high-quality image. The AI creates professional visuals with:
- Clean, readable typography
- High-contrast, centered layouts
- Professional anti-aliased rendering
- Infographic styles for data content
Cost: 5 credits per image

💡 You can generate multiple images from the same analysis (5 credits each) without re-analyzing.
If you don't have enough credits, you'll see a message prompting you to upgrade your plan or wait for your daily credit reset at midnight UTC.
Input Methods
The Visualizer accepts content through three different methods:
URL Input
Paste any article URL and we'll automatically scrape and analyze the content. Great for creating images for existing blog posts or competitor analysis.
Text Content
Paste your article text directly into the textarea. Useful for content you're still drafting or content from documents.
Past Article Selection
Select from your previously generated articles in Stealth Writer. The system will automatically use the full article content for analysis.
Understanding Image Prompts
Each image recommendation includes comprehensive details:
- Concept Name: A short, descriptive name for the image idea
- Description: What the image shows and how it supports your content
- Alt Text: SEO-friendly accessibility description (no dates/years)
- File Name: Suggested descriptive filename for the image
- Caption: Text to accompany the image in your article
- Overlay Text: Short, engaging text displayed on the image itself
- Image Prompt: The complete, detailed prompt used to generate the image
For data-driven articles, the AI recommends infographic-style visuals using charts, graphs, or comparison tables to highlight statistics and key insights.
History & Regeneration
All your generated images are saved in the Visualizer History:
- View all previously generated images in a grid layout
- Each entry shows the article's extracted intent as the title
- Click any image to view full details including all original prompts
- Regenerate new images using any of the stored prompts (5 credits each)
- Download generated images for use in your content
Try Different Prompts
After generating an image, you can use the "Try Different Prompt" feature to select another prompt from the original recommendations and generate a new image—all without re-analyzing the article content.
Push Images to Article or Research Paper
Once you've generated 3 or more images for an article created in StealthWriter, you can automatically embed them directly into your article with a single click. The system intelligently determines the best placement for each image within your content. You can also push featured images directly into your deep research papers.
How It Works
- Generate at least 3 images from an article source in the Visualizer
- Open the image details from the Images page
- Select which images you want to include — by default all images are selected, but you can toggle individual images on or off by clicking the checkmark icon on each thumbnail
- Click the "Push Images to Article" button below the image grid — the button shows how many images are selected (e.g. "Push 3 Images to Article")
- Images are automatically processed to 1500px width using high-quality Lanczos resampling and encoded as 92% quality JPEG — optimized for fast page loads while maintaining excellent visual clarity
Push Individually as Images Generate
You don't need to wait for all images to finish generating. As each image is created in the Visualizer, a "Push to Article" button appears directly on the success view for that image, letting you send it into your article immediately.
- • Smart placement: Each individually pushed image is inserted into the section of the article that best matches its source prompt — not just at the top
- • No duplicates: Once an image has been pushed, its status updates so it won't be pushed again from the Images library
- • Pushed indicator: The button switches to "Pushed to Article" with a green checkmark after a successful push
- • No minimum required: Individual push works image-by-image — the 3-image minimum only applies to the bulk Push Images flow
Image Selection
You have full control over which images get embedded into your article. Each generated image thumbnail displays a checkmark icon that you can click to toggle selection on or off.
- • All selected by default: When you open the push view, every generated image is pre-selected
- • Click to deselect: Click the checkmark on any image thumbnail to exclude it from the push
- • Minimum 1 image: When using custom selection, at least 1 image must remain selected
- • Dynamic count: The push button updates to show exactly how many images will be embedded
Smart Placement
The system uses AI to analyze your article's markdown structure and each image's concept name and description. It then determines the most contextually relevant insertion points—placing images near the sections they best support, rather than grouping them together.
⚠️ Important Notes
- • This feature is available for articles generated in StealthWriter and deep research papers
- • You need at least 3 generated images before the push button appears for articles
- • Featured images can be pushed directly to research papers with no minimum requirement
- • Images can only be pushed once per session to prevent duplicates
- • After pushing, an "Edit/View Article" or "View Research Paper" link appears so you can review the result
- • Pushing images does not cost any additional credits
Images for a Friendly Publishable Asset
If a research paper has a Friendly Publishable Asset, selecting it under From Research Paper shows a ticked Use Friendly Publishable Asset checkbox. Images are then planned from the friendly version, and the results screen (single or bulk) shows a Push Images to Friendly Publishable Asset button. It places each image in the matching section and rebuilds the Word file, which you can download straight away or later from the Papers page.
Bulk Image Creation
Instead of generating images one at a time, you can select multiple image prompts after analysis and generate them all in one go. This is ideal when you want to quickly populate an article with several supporting visuals without manually generating each one.
How Bulk Generation Works
- After analyzing your article, each image prompt card displays a checkbox in the top-right corner
- Select the prompts you want by clicking the checkboxes — you can select as many as you like
- Click the "Bulk Generate Images" button at the bottom — the button shows how many are selected and the total credit cost
- The system generates each image sequentially, showing real-time progress as each one completes
- Each generated image appears in a results grid with its concept name, description, and a download button
- When done, click "Push All to Article" to embed every generated image into your article at once
Cost: 5 credits per image generated (analysis is 1 credit, same as single mode)

- • Save time: Generate up to 10 images without clicking through each one individually
- • One-click push: All generated images can be pushed to your article in a single action
- • Progress tracking: See which images are generating, done, or failed in real time
- • Download individually: Each image in the bulk results has its own download button
⚠️ Important Notes
- • Bulk generation is only available in Blog Post Images mode, not Featured Image mode
- • You must have at least 1 prompt selected to start bulk generation
- • Images generate one after another, so bulk generation takes longer than a single image
- • The total credit cost is displayed before you start — make sure you have enough credits
- • If a single image fails, the rest continue generating and you can retry the failed one individually
Featured Image Mode
The Featured Image mode generates a single premium, editorial-style cover image designed for use as your blog post's hero or social share image. Unlike Blog Post Images which produce multiple in-article visuals, Featured Image creates one high-impact cover optimized for click-through rates.
How Featured Image Works
- Select "Featured Image" from the radio toggle at the top of the Visualizer
- Choose an image style from the 8 available options (see below)
- Provide your content via URL, text, or past article selection (same input methods)
- Click "Generate Featured Image" — the AI creates a single premium cover image in your chosen style
- Download the image or push it directly to your article or deep research paper
Cost: 5 credits per featured image

Before generating a featured image, you must select one of 8 distinct visual styles. The selected style shapes the entire look and feel of the generated cover image.
💡 The chosen style is saved with each generation and displayed as a badge in your Featured Images history.

Featured Image History
All generated featured images are saved and accessible from the Featured Images page in the sidebar. You can browse your history, view details, and push images to articles at any time.
Tips for Best Results
Content Quality
Provide complete, well-structured articles for better image recommendations. The more context the AI has, the more relevant the images will be.
Data-Heavy Content
Articles with statistics, comparisons, or lists work great—the AI will recommend infographic-style visuals to highlight key data points.
Multiple Images
Generate multiple images from the same analysis to use throughout your article. Each section can have its own supporting visual.
Review All Options
Check all image recommendations before generating. Different concepts may work better for different placements (hero, inline, social share).
